INCREASED FUNDS TO BE DISTRIBUTED THROUGH UNITED WAY OF CENTRAL VIRGINIA

United Way of Central Virginia has $181,665 more available for distribution to its partner agencies, a 10 percent increase over last year. The total this year is just over $1.9 million; the amount distributed last year was more than $1.7 million. The increase can be credited to a successful United Way annual campaign and the work United Way of Central Virginia and its partner agencies did together, looking at day-to-day operations and making budget adjustments.
